GregLevine.com Inc. ("we," "us") provides business development services. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and who we share it with.
Information we collect
We collect information in three ways:
- Information you give us directly. When you submit a LinkedIn Lead Gen Form, book a call, or email us, we receive the information in that submission — typically your name, work email address, job title, company name, and any answers you provide to questions in the form. If you send us a policy manual, accreditation file or similar document — for example as part of a standards gap check — we receive that document and whatever it contains. See Documents you send us for review below.
- Newsletter sign-ups. When you subscribe to one of our newsletters (The Resolution Letter or The Accreditation Letter), we receive your email address and the newsletters you chose. We use it only to send those newsletters, and you can unsubscribe at any time by replying to any issue or emailing Greg@GregLevine.com. Sign-ups and website contact messages are delivered to us through Web3Forms, a form-delivery service.
- Information from your use of our website. We use the LinkedIn Insight Tag on greglevine.com. It collects standard technical information such as IP address, browser and device characteristics, timestamps, and the pages you viewed. LinkedIn uses this to provide us with aggregated, anonymized reporting about the professional characteristics of our site's visitors. We do not receive the identity of individual website visitors through this tool.
- Information from advertising platforms. When you interact with our ads, the advertising platform provides us with aggregated campaign reporting.
Documents you send us for review
Please read this section before you send us anything. Some of our offers — including the standards gap check — ask you to send in a policy manual or accreditation file. Those documents are handled differently from the contact details in a form, and this section explains exactly how.
- What we do with it. We use the document only to produce the review you asked for — identifying standards, chapters or subpoints your material does not appear to address — and to discuss the results with you. We do not use it for any other purpose.
- Who sees it. The review is performed using Badge 6's accreditation software, so your document is shared with Badge Six, LLC for that purpose. Beyond that, we do not share it, publish it, or use it as an example, case study or marketing material without your written permission.
- How we store it. We keep submitted documents in access-controlled business accounts and limit access to the people performing the review.
- How long we keep it. We delete documents you send us within 90 days of delivering your review, or sooner if you ask. Email us and we will confirm deletion in writing.
What not to send us
A gap check works from your standards documentation and written policy. It does not require sensitive operational material, and we ask that you do not send any.
Please do not send us anything that is classified, security-sensitive, or restricted by law, contract or agency policy from being disclosed to a third party — including but not limited to emergency response and evacuation plans, perimeter or security procedures, post orders and staffing patterns, investigative or intelligence records, personnel files, or any record containing personal information about staff or people in custody. If a document contains that material alongside the standards content, redact it or send only the relevant sections.
If your agency requires a non-disclosure agreement, a data handling agreement, or a specific transfer method before you send anything, tell us before you send it and we will work within your requirements.
How we use it
- To respond to your inquiry and send you the material you requested.
- To contact you about consulting services and the products we represent, where you have indicated interest.
- To measure and improve the performance of our marketing.
Who we share it with
Please read this section carefully. GregLevine.com Inc. represents third-party vendors as a sales and referral partner. If you submit your information in response to material about a specific vendor, we will share your submission with that vendor so they can follow up with you.
Specifically:
- Badge Six, LLC ("Badge 6"). We represent Badge 6, an accreditation software provider. If you request information about accreditation software, download our accreditation material, or otherwise express interest in Badge 6, we will share your name, work email, job title and organization with Badge 6, and Badge 6 may contact you directly. If you send us a document for a standards gap check, that document is also shared with Badge 6 so the review can be performed — see Documents you send us for review. Badge 6's handling of your information is governed by its own privacy policy.
- Service providers. We use third-party tools for email, scheduling, hosting and analytics. These providers process information on our behalf.
- Legal requirements. We may disclose information where required by law.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with unrelated third parties for their own marketing.
How long we keep it
We retain contact information for as long as needed to pursue the business relationship, and after that for a reasonable period for record-keeping. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
Documents you send us for review are treated separately and on a shorter clock: we delete them within 90 days of delivering your review, or sooner on request. See Documents you send us for review.
Your choices
- Opt out of contact. Email us at the address below and we will remove you from our outreach.
- Access, correction or deletion. Email us and we will honor reasonable requests to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you.
- Withdraw a document. If you have sent us a document for review, you can ask us to delete it at any time, including before the review is finished. Email us and we will delete it and confirm in writing.
- Opt out of LinkedIn ad tracking. You can control LinkedIn's use of your data in your LinkedIn account settings, and you can opt out of the LinkedIn Insight Tag at LinkedIn's opt-out page.
- Cookies. Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies. Doing so will not affect your ability to use this site.
Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia and other states with privacy laws
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to know what personal information we hold about you, to request its deletion or correction, and to opt out of certain sharing. We extend these rights to all visitors regardless of location. To exercise them, email us at the address below. We will not discriminate against you for making a request.
Children
This is a business-to-business site. It is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes, we will update the date below. Please check back periodically.
